I've never seen Blink 182 in person, but one would hope they would be better live than on CD. You never know though.

They are better in person I would assume...I have seen youtube videos :). Anything is always better in person...

I saw them at the Gorge here in Washington and it was one of the best concerts ever! Definitely better in person

I have never seen them and will so love too. I was so mad that I never gotten a chance to see them... I heardf they are great live. I have almost everyone of thier cd's and what the hell i just want to hear first date and all the small things in person... So i will have to go with Cd due to the fact I have never seen them live

Well, obviously on record, the blink are amazing! But let me tell you, in person, it's incredible. So much energy and such a great performance!

A lot of people have a phobia about going to concerts, and face it, some concert goers are not too pleasant to be around, rude, etc. So I am sure they would vote for the CD, besides, you can sit around in your underwear if you've a mind to, scratch, burp, make other bodily noises and you bother no one but yourself while listening to the great music! (Some people would readily do these things even at the concert, refer to first line!).
Then there are those who say there is nothing like the crowd, the rush of seeing your favorite band (in this case Blink 182) and hearing all your favorite songs while watching them perform in person!!! Even if you have to put up with the afore mentioned rude concert goers, what? you are one of them? oh well, what the heck go to the concert! You can listen to the CD in the car to and from!

Well I've never seen them in person but I'd hope seeing the in a concert would be better than hearing them on the CD. Since, you know, you have to pay to see them and it is an experience. I am not a huge fan of live CDs but sometimes it is cool to be able to listen to the whole of a concert after it happens and wish you were there!

While blink 182 is amazing on a cd, they're even better live. You get the banter of Mark/Tom, the feeling of the bass/drum pounding so hard you feel it in your heart. When you see them live, sometimes you get witty little backstories on songs. You get random covers & brand new songs.
That said, when you have a cd, the music is there for you anytime. If it weren't for the cds, you wouldn't be a fan though. They're both fairly equal when you really think about it.
(plus, they have a live cd which brings most of the quirks of a live show to your car.)
